I just finished Freddy & Fredericka by Mark Helprin. I quite enjoyed it. It was one of those, I-am-near-a-bookstore-so-I-will-buy-random-book, books. In response to Nudecybot’s recent post, I too would agree that The Code Book is one of the more fascinating non-fiction books I’ve ever read. Even I, reader of fiction, can appreciate a good non-fiction book now and then. However, I must point out that Cryptonomicon was also very interesting and fiction to boot.

Ugh. Ultimate tournament this weekend was too wet, too muddy and too cold to justify actually being outside from 9:30 to 5:30 playing a sport. It must have rained 5 inches on Saturday. I can’t ever remember being so wet.
